The Revolution x The Simpsons Spooktacular Face Palette launched as part of the limited edition Revolution x The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Halloween Collection.
This ollection was huge with palettes, lip products, eye products, face products and accessories like makeup brushes and a makeup bag. It’s an amazing collection, and the Revolution x The Simpsons Spooktacular Face Palette looked so pretty, so I decided I had to pick it up whilst it was half price at Beauty Bay.
“Introducing the The Simpsons “Spooktacular” Face Palette This all-in-one face palette includes three shades – EVIL TWIN – a warm bronzer, BRAINS – a rosy blusher and CURSED – a champagne highlighter for various skin tones.
This palette is a must for any fan of The Simpsons, to take your look from day to fright night! These shades are embossed with skeleton Bart, Lisa and Maggie. Pair with The Living Dead Lip glosses for the ultimate glowy Halloween look!”
The Revolution x The Simpsons Spooktacular Face Palette is £10 / $15, and it’s a three-pan face palette with a bronzer, highlighter and blusher. It has cardboard packaging like everything else within the collection.
It’s black cardboard, with a grey Treehouse of Horror illustrated design all over, which looks so cool against the lime green writing. On the front of the palette, there’s the iconic couch with the family all sat down, but as skeletons.
Inside the Revolution x The Simpsons Spooktacular Face Palette, you are getting 3 x 4.5g face powders, and the three pans have a skeleton design of Bart, Lisa and Maggie which is a nice extra touch to the palette. As well as this face palette, there’s also a highlighter palette within the collection, featuring two highlighter shades which also looks very pretty.
The Revolution x The Simpsons Spooktacular Face Palette includes the following three shades;
- Evil Twin Powder Bronzer
- Brains Powder Blusher
- Cursed Powder Highlighter
All three shades are very pigmented, and are exceptionally smooth. Sometimes when a beauty brand launches a collaboration, the quality can sometimes be lacking as so much of the money goes into the packaging and licence fees, but the quality of this face palette is genuinely fantastic.
The bronzer is a matte, warm toned chocolate brown, the blusher is also matte and is a bright pink, and the highlighter is an intense light champagne, and it can be built up to give a wet-look glow to the skin. I didn’t expect to love the palette as much as I do, as the shades are quite basic, but they’re beautiful cheek powders, and it’s my favourite product from the whole Simpsons collection.
