Revolution x The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Brush Set
Revolution haven’t even announced the Grinch collaboration yet, so it’s strange that the collection is available at Revolution stockists like Beauty Bay and Boozyshop.
I imagine they’re waiting for their Halloween collabs to be revealed first, but I did see the owner of Revolution confirm that there’s more to come for this collaboration, and it isn’t just the gift sets and advent calendar, so that’s exciting.
The Revolution x The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Brush Set is themed around the main man himself; The Grinch. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Revolution team up with Dr Seuss, as earlier this year, I Heart Revolution launched a collection themed around Dr Seuss. However, this Makeup Revolution x The Grinch collab is with their main Revolution beauty brand.
The Revolution x The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Brush Set is £20, and it’s a beauty tool gift set. Within the set, you’re getting three makeup brushes, a beauty sponge and also a compact mirror, all of which are themed around The Grinch.
All three brushes within the Revolution x The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Brush Set have lime green plastic handles, red chrome ferrules and lime green synthetic bristles.
On each of the handles of the brushes, there’s a different illustration of The Grinch, and I love that they’re different designs on each handle.
I have to be honest, Revolution don’t make the best makeup brushes (except the XX Revolution XXpert Brush Collection), but all three of these brushes are lovely quality.
There’s a flat shadow brush, an angled shadow brush and a fluffy blending brush. They’re all super soft, and are cut for precision and a seamless blend on the eyes.
Next in the Revolution x The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Brush Set, is my personal favourite item, and it’s a Revolution x The Grinch Makeup Blending Sponge.
It’s shaped to look like The Grinch’s head, is lime green, and features a snarky The Grinch face etched on the front. It’s so flipping cute, and it’s SO soft. Usually, Revolution beauty sponges are like bouncy rocks as they’re so hard, but this sponge is amazingly soft.
The last item in the makeup brush, makeup sponge and compact mirror set, is an item which also features inside the Makeup Revolution The Grinch Advent Calendar, and it’s a Grinch shaped compact mirror.
It’s a lime green mirror, shaped like The Grinch’s head, with his ‘snarky’ expression, and the word snarky for his mouth. It’s pretty big for a compact mirror, and the mirror on the underside is a typical, round mirror.
It’s one of the coolest makeup mirrors Revolution has ever created, and any The Grinch fan would love this set. The brushes are amazing quality, the sponge is the nicest Revolution sponge I’ve tried, and the mirror? Iconic! If you’d like to get your hands on this limited edition set, it’s available right now.
