Revolution x Bratz Lip Care Duo Set Review

Revolution launched their Bratz collection back in June, and the Revolution x Bratz Lip Care Duo Set is just one product from the collaboration.

I’ve already shared reviews of the Bratz x Revolution Eyeshadow Palette and the Bratz x Revolution Eyeliner Set, and the Revolution x Bratz Lip Care Duo Set is one of the other products I bought from the collection, as well as one of the glosses.

Revolution x Bratz Lip Care Duo Set Review

The Revolution x Bratz Lip Care Duo Set is $14 / £10, and includes a lip scrub and a lip mask in one. I decided to pick up this set, as it was unlike anything else we’ve seen from Revolution, and it gave me ColourPop Fourth Ray Beauty vibes, as they tend to launch lip care sets in their limited edition collections.

When my Revolution x Bratz Lip Care Duo Set arrived with the rest of my Bratz order, I was really surprised by how heavy the box was. Both the lip scrub and lip mask are in glass jars, with weighty metallic lids.

They both feel and look pretty luxe for the price, and I love the aesthetic, and hope we see similar from the brand in the future. Each of the two jars give you 12g / 0.42oz of product, which is a really decent amount for a lip scrub and lip mask balm.

The Revolution x Bratz Lip Care Duo Set includes two ‘white’ product jars, with one being a granular sugar based lip scrub, and the other is an intensive lip balm, which can be used as an overnight lip mask.

Revolution x Bratz Lip Care Duo Set Review

They have a delicious vanilla mint scent and taste. I know you shouldn’t taste your lip scrub/balm, but you just do, and they taste good. I like how gritty the scrub is, and that it’s blended with oil, so the loose grains don’t just drop everywhere whilst you’re ‘scrubbing’ the lips.

I really like the lip mask too, and it’s just a rich lip balm, so you could use it during the day if you wanted to. They both work together nicely to slough away any dry skin, and leave the lips so soft and smooth, and I really hope we get more of these duos in future collections.
