The new collection was all about colour and glitter, and whilst none of us will be visiting any festivals this year, the collection would have been in the works for a long time and it's still a pretty collection.
Revolution Viva Glitter Body Balm
The Revolution Viva Glitter Body Balm collection are a foursome of little glass jars, with rose gold lids.
On the top of each of the lids, there's chunky glitter to show the shade inside the jar. It looks so pretty and glam, and different to anything else we've ever seen from a drugstore brand.
The Revolution Viva Glitter Body Balm are described as being biodegradable pressed glitter in a balm formula, that instantly leaves you with a gorgeous glittery finish.
For application, Revolution recommend that you apply with a finger or brush. Pat on to the same area to intensify the glitter effect or brush on for a light glitter finish.
The four shades are;
- Golden Girl
- Pink Party
- Teal Time
Something that is important to consider is where you apply these glitter balms. There's no reference within the product description that they're eye safe, and due to how chunky and large the glitter pieces are, I'd be pretty much 100% sure that they're for the body and face, and mustn't be applied anywhere near the eyes.
For a body glitter, these glass jars are tiny so you'd maybe only get a couple of uses per jar when applied to the body.
It would be more affordable to purchase a loose glitter and adhere it to your skin yourself with a DIY glitter glue recipe (there's lots of Pinterest). If you like the idea of having pressed glitter within a balm, the Revolution Viva Glitter Body Balm collection are available now.
