There’s a brand new, exciting Revolution dupe, and it’s the Revolution Super Base Vitamin Base Primer. Revolution launched two primers last year, which were the Revolution Super Base Color Correcting Primers.
However, this latest addition to the range is exciting, as it’s very much an intentional dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. Except the Revolution version is £10, and the Bobbi Brown version is £48.50 – what a saving!

Revolution Super Base Vitamin Base Primer
“Say hello to your new go-to moisturising primer!
This is the ultimate base to prep your skin for makeup, with all the comfort of a moisturiser, and benefits of a primer.
Packed with skin-nourishing vitamins including Vitamin B, C, and E, Shea Butter and Hyaluronic Acid, this primer works throughout the day to hydrate and nourish your skin.“
The Revolution Super Base Vitamin Base Primer is £9.99 / $13.80, and contains 25ml / 0.84 fl.oz of product, within a frosted glass jar, and a black lid.
Although there’s a mega price difference between the Revolution version, and the Bobbi Brown version, there’s a big difference in size too. With the Revolution version only having 25ml, and the Bobbi Brown version is 50ml, so you are getting half the product.
Revolution Super Base Vitamin Base Primer formula is completely translucent, so the primer can be used alone as part of your skincare routine or applied before foundation to prep and plump the skin.

Clearly, the ingredients differ considerably, so the formulation isn’t a straight-up dupe. Looking at the ingredients, the Bobbi Brown offers a lot more skincare ingredients, like oils, but if you prefer more simplistic formulas, the Revolution primer has considerably fewer ingredients.
The packaging shape is completely different between the two primers, with the Bobbi Brown version looking more luxe. Both products are marketed as being a makeup primer and moisturizer hybrid.
If you didn’t fancy dropping $66 on the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Primer, the Revolution Super Base Vitamin Base Primer is available right now.
