The Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters launched about a month ago, and as soon as I saw them, I knew I had to try at least one as they looked so beautiful. Revolution have been killing it with their packaging designs lately, and these highlighters seriously look high end.

Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters
The Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters are a new range of highlighters for the Revolution Glow sister brand, which launched alongside some bronzers, lip balms, brushes and even a fan.
Revolution has a quite a lot of sister brands now, but the Revolution Glow brand is all about helping us to achieve a gorgeous glow and radiant bronze for the face and body.
The Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters have the prettiest packaging I’ve ever seen on a drugstore highlighter. I ordered mine via their website, and when they arrived I was really surprised by how large the compacts are, and they look even more beautiful in real life.
Each of the compacts have a rippled liquid metal effect, and are a rose gold chrome colour. They look so chic and luxe. The rippled design is giving me Laura Mercier vibes with their Face Illuminators.
“Are you ready for the ultimate glow up? Makeup Revolution Glow Splendour Highlighter is here for your glowy skin needs!
Revolution Glow is the face and body makeup collection that keeps you looking sun kissed all year round.“
These Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters are £8 / $12 each, and contain 0.45oz / 13g of product, which is pretty big for a highlighter, and why they can be used on both the face and the body. There are six shades available in the range, and the six shades are;
Usually whenever Revolution launch multiple shades of a product, they include shade descriptions for each shade to help us tell them apart.
However, they haven’t included any shade descriptions for the six Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters, so I decided to order the two lightest shades, and wow are they beautiful.
Revolution also don’t have any swatches on their website for the Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters which again, is so unlike them.
Usually they have multiple bloggers of different skintones with swatches, so we can see what each shade looks like, so the two shades I ordered were a little bit of a gamble, but it was a gamble that paid off!
The two shades I bought were So Glazed and Lustre. So Glazed is the deeper of the two shades, and is a light, warm toned gold. Whereas Lustre is a pale pink champagne.
The formula for the Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters is amazing. I hate glittery highlighters with a passion, and as a brand, Revolution love to create glittery highlighters, however these highlighters (or these two shades specifically) have zero glitter or sparkle in them which makes me very happy.
They are absolutely beautiful, and my photo swatches don’t do them justice. They have a very silky, smooth formula which applies almost like a cream highlighter. They also have a buildable formula too, so you can opt for a subtle, natural sheen or build up for a super intense glow.
I’ve tried a lot of Revolution highlighters, and if I had to compare the formula of the Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters with another range of their highlighters, it’d have to be their old Skin Kiss highlighters – except, the formula of these highlighters is far superior!
Sure the packaging is absolutely stunning, but the formula is too, and they look so pretty on the skin. Due to how big the pans/compacts are, you could use them both on the face and the body for a gorgeous glow, and I can’t believe they’re only £8 / $12 each.
If I had to pick a favourite between Lustre and So Glazed, it’d have to be Lustre as I prefer a cooler toned highlighter, but they’re both unbelievably beautiful. If you like a smooth, glitter-free, radiant glow, you have to give the Revolution Splendour Ultra Glow Highlighters a try, and you can find them right here.
