The whole soap brow trend is a little bit weird, however there’s no escaping it with a Instagram makeup tutorials. The Revolution Soap Styler has just launched as a dupe for the Iconic London Brow Silk which is £20 for the brow soap and you have to buy the ‘brow groomer’ separately.
Revolution Soap Styler
The Revolution Soap Styler has been created to help you achieve the popular soap brows trend, with a brow-safe formula that won’t budge.
It’s inspired by the Hollywood trick of using soap in your brows, and this little compact will help you create full and fluffy brows, gripping every brow hair in place. Said to be perfect for achieving the laminated brow look.
Dampen the applicator and swipe across the soap, brush gently through the brows in desired direction to create a laminated look, or use without water to hold brows in place.
Myristic Acid, Sodium Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Glycerin, Parfum (Fragrance), Limonene, Linalool, Citronellol
The Revolution Soap Styler is £6 and contains 5g of soap inside a rose gold, metallic compact with a mirror in the lid. The soap section is white in colour, and there’s a mini toothbrush style applicator inside the compact too.
The packaging is pretty spot on identical for the Iconic London Brow Silk, except there’s no applicator included with theirs.
Looking at the ingredients in the Revolution Soap Styler and the ingredients in the Iconic London Brow Silk, the ingredients are better quality in the Iconic London version.
However, if you’re not bothered about the quality of the ingredients, this £6 alternative from Revolution could be a better option for you.
The Revolution Soap Styler is a great little kit if you’ve been wanting to experiment with the soap brows trend, but you do get a tiny amount of soap for the price.
The more cost effective way to try the trend would be to buy a bar of soap and a toothbrush, and you’d achieve the same effect. But if you prefer the convenience of having the kit the Revolution Soap Styler would be very effective.
