Retinol is massively popular for its anti-ageing properties, and the Revolution Skincare Retinol Serum Collection has launched with four different strengths to cater for everyone’s skin sensitivities and retinol journeys. If you’d like to find out more about the Revolution Skincare Retinol Serum Collection, keep on reading….
Revolution Skincare Retinol Serum Collection
The Revolution Skincare Retinol Serum Collection used to consist of the Revolution Skincare 0.2% Retinol Smoothing Serum, which has been massively popular ever since it initially launched back in November.
So Revolution have gone one better and introduced three more retinol serums to the range, and they’ve created a really helpful guide on when / how each strength should be used or introduced within your skincare routine.
Retinol is a tricky ingredient as it can cause sensitivity issues due to how potent it is, so it’s very important to start with a very mild retinol to begin with, and you follow the directions to ensure you don’t get excessive peeling or irritation.
Although it is very normal for everyone’s skin to experience some sensitivity when first introducing retinol in to your skincare routine. Revolution have designed their Revolution Skincare Retinol Serum Collection to be a four-step programme, with each serum offering a different potency of retinol.
I think its genius as most brands offer a mild retinol and a strong retinol, or just one, but four formulas is impressive, and they allow you to build up retinol resistance and thus giving you optimum results.
The Revolution Skincare Retinol Serum Collection includes the following four retinol formulas;
- Revolution Skincare 0.2% Retinol Smoothing Serum – Start your Retinol journey with the Revolution Skincare Retinol Serum, expertly formulated to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone and texture.
- Revolution Skincare 0.5% Retinol Intense Serum – Ideal for those who have already used retinol and are looking to continue their journey, this silky, lightweight oil blend contains 0.5% pure retinol combined with skin-softening grapeseed oil and rosehip oil (to help reduce the appearance of fine lines) for the ultimate smooth and even skin tone and texture.
- Revolution Skincare 0.3% Retinol with Vitamins & Hyaluronic Acid Serum – Ideal for those who have already used retinol and are looking to continue their journey, this serum has a 0.3% pure retinol formulation, a higher percentage than our past ranges. Develop and increase your levels of retinol by introducing this serum that’s made with skin-loving vitamins (like niacinamide, which evens skin tone and smooths) and hyaluronic acid too, to smooth skin whilst keeping it hydrated
- Revolution Skincare 1% Retinol Super Intense Serum -Ideal for those who have already used retinol and are looking to continue their journey, this silky, lightweight oil blend contains 1% pure retinol combined with skin-calming peach kernel oil and vitamin-rich sweet almond oil for the ultimate smooth and even skin tone and texture.
Revolution recommend using the four variations within the Revolution Skincare Retinol Serum Collection mixed with peptides, ceramides, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and SPF before applying directly to the skin.
The four retinol serums are priced between £10 and £12, and they each have glass bottle packaging, with a glass pipette dispenser. They’re nice and affordable, and the perfect way to start introducing retinols to your skincare routine, and they’re available right here.
