I’ve tried a lot of Revolution makeup, but not so much the Revolution Skincare. I ordered the Revolution Skincare Overnight Sleeping Mask in one of my more recent Revolution orders, as it sounded exactly like something my skin would enjoy. Keep on reading to hear my thoughts….

Revolution Skincare Overnight Sleeping Mask
The Revolution Skincare Overnight Sleeping Mask launched back in March, as part of a whole Overnight skincare collection. As soon as I saw the collection, I knew that the ‘inspiration’ behind the range was the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Collection.
The packaging and aesthetics are extremely similar, and some of the names too. I love the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, but it is very pricey, so if a drugstore brand can create something more affordable and accessible, that’s great.
“This velvety lavender-infused sleeping mask helps to encourage a deeper sleep and by morning, a more radiant and healthier-looking complexion. Enriched with a skin-loving blend of vitamins E and B5 and grapeseed oil to provide lightweight hydration that’s perfect on all skin types.
Added Colloidal Oatmeal helps to soothe irritated skin by creating a protective barrier whilst glycerin and sodium hyaluronate restore skin’s moisture levels for longer-lasting hydration.“
The Revolution Skincare Overnight Sleeping Mask is £10 / $14 and contains 50ml of product within a weighty, royal blue coloured glass jar with a black lid.
I didn’t expect the jar to be as heavy as it is, it certainly doesn’t look or feel like a £10 skincare product. If you didn’t see the Revolution label on the jar, you’d think it was Kiehl’s.
Although there isn’t actually a Midnight Recovery Mask within the range, so I don’t believe the formula of the Revolution Skincare Overnight Sleeping Mask is a Kiehl’s dupe, but it still has a Kiehl’s aesthetic.
The Revolution Skincare Overnight Sleeping Mask has a lovely, strong lavender scent which some won’t enjoy, but I really like it. It smells so nice, and is perfect for a product you apply as your very last step within your skincare routine before bed.
The mask has a thick, almost balm-like consistency. It’s very rich, and my dry skin loves it. It’s easy to apply, and does sit on the surface of the skin until it’s absorbed, but it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy, nor does it transfer on to your pillow whilst you sleep either.
I really enjoy how rich and hydrating the Revolution Skincare Overnight Sleeping Mask is. I don’t think it’d work for those with oily or combination skin types as it is so rich and intensive, but it works wonders on my dehydrated skin.
I love how soft and plump my skin feels in the morning, and I only need to use it once or twice a week as it makes a genuine improvement in my skin, and it isn’t short lived where you need to apply every night to see the same benefit.
I love a good overnight face mask anyway, but for £10, I think the Revolution Skincare Overnight Sleeping Mask is fab, and I’d love to try more from their Overnight collection to use alongside this mask.
