Another week, another food themed face mask for Revolution, with the Revolution Skincare Mint Choco Chip Face Mask joining the Revolution Skincare x Jake Jamie Feed Your Face Collection.
The collection basically consists of multiple face masks with different food themes like doughnuts, watermelon and avocado.
Revolution Skincare Mint Choco Chip Face Mask
Each of the collab face masks contain 50ml of product and are £8 each. Revolution claim that this minty mask will leave you looking like a snack (how cringe), and is formulated with zingy peppermint leaf to soothe and refresh, and Cocoa Butter to encourage smooth, softer skin.
The directions are very easy, you just apply 1-2 times a week by leaving the mask on the skin for up to 10-15 minutes then massage into the skin for 30 seconds before rinsing.
Ingredients
Aqua (Water, Eau), Propylene Glycol, Isopropyl Myristate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Steareth-2, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum (Fragrance), Carbomer, Petrolatum, Coffea Robusta Seed Powder, Triethanolamine, Benzophenone-4, Steareth-21, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Denatonium Benzoate, Limonene, CI 19140 (Yellow 5), CI 42090 (Blue 1).
This particular mask, the Revolution Skincare Mint Choco Chip Face Mask contains peppermint extract, which can sometimes be an irritant to the skin, so it might not be the most suitable mask for those with super sensitive skin.
Peppermint oil is described as having soothing and cooling abilities that freshen the skin, as well as having properties that facilitate oil secretion, making it an effective component against acne.
