Do you enjoy using microfibre cloths to remove your makeup? Well Revolution have launched the Revolution Skincare Microfibre Face Cloths, and they’re £8 for a pack of three.
This isn’t the first time Revolution have offered microfibre cloths, as previously they sold Makeup Eraser style cloths but they were individual cloths rather than a multipack like the Revolution Skincare Microfibre Face Cloths.
Revolution Skincare Microfibre Face Cloths
Directions
Simply wet and apply your favourite makeup remover or cleanser (we love the Calming Cleansing Oil), gently massage skin to remove makeup.
Something to note with the Revolution Skincare Microfibre Face Cloths, is that although they’re made with microfibre, they’re not being marketed as makeup eraser type cloths.
You still need to use cleanser or makeup remover to remove your makeup, so I can’t help thinking you’d be better off purchasing a much gentler pack of three face cloth flannels from Primark for £3 and they’re much bigger in size too?
Plus microfibre cloths are seen as being generally too harsh on the skin, so sensitive skin may find a ordinary flannel face cloth to be more effective.
The Revolution Skincare Microfibre Face Cloths are £8, and for the price you get three white coloured small microfibre makeup removing cloths, as well as a translucent zip up bag.
I think it would have been nice if the bag the cloths came with, was one you could put the dirty cloths inside before putting the cloths in your washing machine.
For a product that’s being marketed as eco friendly, and a way to help the environment, it feels a little counterintuitive that the Revolution Skincare Microfibre Face Cloths would come in a plastic zipped bag? Plus microfibre isn’t a biodegradable fabric, so it’s not necessarily a eco friendly option like it’s marketed.
I also think £8 is very pricey for three small cloths, when you can purchase a 6 pack from Amazon for £6.99. It’s important to remember that whilst Revolution are a more affordable brand, not all their products are the best value so always shop around for the best price.
*Revolution announced the price has been lowered to £6 with immediate effect*
