Wow Revolution are on a roll right now with their skincare launches. The Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection launched today, just weeks after they launched their Eye Boost collection, the Mint Choco Chip Face Mask, and their skincare accessories range.
There are six different options within the collection, and if you’d like to know more about them, keep on reading.
Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection
There are six different versions of their ‘Boost’ range, and they’re all £10 each for 50ml of product. The Eye Boosts are £8 for 15ml of product, just as a comparison.
The Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection are mostly in brightly coloured jars, just like the Eye Boosts and some of the colours are exactly the same across both Boost ranges.
So I assumed they’d be the same range, but that’s not the case. For example the ‘yellow’ jar of the Eye Boosts is the Pigment Boost Colour Correcting Eye Cream, but the ‘yellow’ jar within the Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection is the Calming Boost Moisture Cream.
So don’t just choose a Face Boost in the same colour of an Eye Boost you enjoyed. I do think this could be a little confusing when purchasing instore, especially as they’re both called ‘Boosts’ with the same packaging design so make sure you check each eye cream/gel and each moisturiser individually to be sure.
You could accidentally pick up a coloured box wanting one of the products, but accidentally purchase the wrong one without checking the names.
There are six products within the Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection, but there’s one Boost which is different to their brightly coloured jar collection and that’s the Revolution Skincare Hydration Boost Night Cream.
It has been created due to customers loving their Revolution Skincare Hydration Boost so much, so they decided to create a richer, more intensive version for use overnight.
It has been formulated with hyaluronic acid to bind water to skin, and provide the ultimate hydration with glycogen, a moisturising agent shown to boost the efficiency of Hyaluronic Acid.
Described as being a silky cream perfect for nourishing skin and moisturising overnight. Illipe Seed Butter helps to soften and smooth the skin, working to reduce flakiness and tightness, and Peach Kernel Oil helps lock in moisture.
The first of the five colourful jars within the Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection is the Hydration Boost, in a coral coloured jar with pink coloured gel.
This gel is formulated with Watermelon Fruit Extract, known for its hydrating and refreshing properties, as well as Glycerin and Betaine that work as humectants to draw moisture into the skin and lock it in place.
Boosted with Urea to help condition skin and promote suppleness, and Squalene to leave skin feeling soft and smooth.
Next up in the Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection is this calming gel cream formulated with Turmeric Root Extract, which is thought to have antioxidant and calming properties, Grape Seed Oil to help soften skin without feeling greasy, and non-comedogenic Castor Seed Oil to nourish skin, leaving it smooth.
This cream features bakuchiol which is the plant based, vegan alternative to Retinol that boasts similar age defying benefits without the irritation or dryness some people experience with Retinol.
It can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, even and brighten skin tone and keep skin supple and firm. Revolution claim to have boosted this formula with Castor Seed Oil, a non-comedogenic oil that nourishes skin, leaving it smooth and soft to the touch.
This next moisture cream within the Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection is enriched with Ginseng Extract which is thought to help increase your skins glow, making this moisturiser perfect for brightening complexions.
The formula is boosted with Niacinamide to help soothe skin and brighten uneven skin tone, and Shea Butter to soften and smooth skin
The final product within the Revolution Skincare Face Boost Collection is this hydrating version, formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, a natural moisturising factor that binds water to the skin to provide next level hydration, and a blend of Shea and Illipe Butters that help to soften and smooth skin, preventing dryness or flakiness.
If you like the sound of this new skincare collection, they’re all available via the Revolution website right now.
