If you’re a fan of the Revolution Salicylic Acid collection, the Revolution Skincare Blemish 1% Salicylic Acid Touch Up Stick is one of two new launches to the range which have been introduced this weekend.
Their Blemish Salicylic Acid collection is extremely popular, so it’s always fab to see new products join the line-up, and this skincare treatment has been designed for on-the-go blemish busting.
In addition to the Revolution Skincare Blemish 1% Salicylic Acid Touch Up Stick, there’s also the Revolution Skincare Blemish Salicylic Acid & Zinc PCA Purifying Water Gel Cream too.
The touch-up stick is £8, and the Water Gel Cream is also £8, but there’s some handy bundles too allowing you to save money when purchasing multiple products from the Blemish collection.
“The Anytime Anywhere 1% Salicylic Acid Blemish Touch Up Stick is perfect for those battling breakouts who need an emergency on-the-go solution.
This portable targeted blemish treatment can be used anytime, anywhere to help target, fight and soothe active breakouts. It’s genius clear formula makes it perfect for using both under and over makeup.
Formulated with a blemish-fighting blend of 1% Salicylic Acid, a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) which helps to remove trapped dirt and sebum from within the pores, and Zinc which helps to keep the skin moisturised whilst reducing excess oiliness. We’ve also added Allantoin to help soothe irritated skin and promote skin recovery.”
The Revolution Skincare Blemish 1% Salicylic Acid Touch Up Stick is a clear gel in an almost lipgloss-like tube, with a doefoot applicator. It’s designed, so you can apply the gel to active spots, or breakouts on the face and body under and over makeup as it’s completely colourless.
AQUA (WATER, EAU), PROPANEDIOL, GLYCERIN, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, PANTHENOL, SALICYLIC ACID, PHENOXYETHANOL, XANTHAN GUM, ALLANTOIN, DISODIUM EDTA, SODIUM COCOAMPHOACETATE, DISODIUM COCOAMPHODIACETATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, PANTOLACTONE
I can’t think of a product that’s similar to this, as you don’t really see blemish treatments with a doefoot applicator for on-the-go treatments. It sounds like such a convenient format rather than a squeezy plastic tube, although applying directly from the doefoot onto active breakouts could potentially unhygienic as you’re putting bacteria back into the tube each time.
I would recommend using the doefoot applicator and applying some of the clear gel to your clean fingertip and then dab the gel onto your breakouts, to keep the product as high quality as possible, and keep the doefoot sanitary too.
I’ve been trying some of the Revolution Skincare Salicylic products the last few weeks, and I’m really impressed, so I’ll be sure to share my thoughts very soon. If you’d like to try the Revolution Skincare Blemish 1% Salicylic Acid Touch Up Stick it’s available right now.
