We’ve seen a lot of acid based skincare launches from Revolution over the last few months, and now we have another. The Revolution Skincare 2% Salicylic Acid Tonic is part of a small salicylic acid collection, and if you’d like to know more about this new tonic, keep on reading.
Revolution Skincare 2% Salicylic Acid Tonic
This tonic is part of their range to help battle spots, blemishes and breakouts with a light and hydrating formula that’s said to be ideal for everyday blemish prevention.
The formula contains 2% salicylic acid which works to exfoliate skin and penetrate deep into pores to break up trapped dirt and sebum helping prevent the formation of new blemishes. Whilst Marshmallow Extract promises to help keep the skin moisturised and calm redness.
This new liquid tonic contains 200ml of product and is £10. It’s packaged within a clear plastic bottle, with a white label and a rose gold metallic lid.
Directions wise, it’s super simple. Revolution recommend using the tonic after cleansing, by saturating a cotton wool pad and sweeping across the face and neck.
As it’s an acid based product, it’s recommended that you use a decent SPF when using the Revolution Skincare 2% Salicylic Acid Tonic, as it will increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight.
I obviously haven’t tried the Revolution Skincare 2% Salicylic Acid Tonic, but it sounds very, very similar to the Nip + Fab Salicylic Fix Tonic, except theirs is £14.99 and contains 100ml.
Plus, the Revolution Skincare 2% Salicylic Acid Tonic contains 2% salicylic acid, whilst the Nip + Fab version contains only 1% so this does sound like a great budget friendly alternative.
