Last week saw the launch of the Revolution Pro Eye Lustre Cream Eyeshadow Collection, and today the brand has launched the Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Base Primer which has the same format as the Lustre Cream shadows.
Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Base Primer
When the Eye Lustre Cream Eyeshadows launched, Revolution shared the swatches of the shadows, which was swatched alongside the Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Base Primer (as shown above), so we knew that the primer was coming, and it’s finally been launched today.
“The Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Base Primer is here! Want to make your eye make up to last longer? Then this eye base primer is essential to keep your eye looks locked in all day long.
With a super thick consistency and crease proof, this is guarenteed to help make your eye make up last so much longer. Featuring a gorgeous gold case, this is the perfect size for travel and a great luxury addition for on the go make up looks.”
The Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Base Primer is packaged within a clear, glass jar with a metallic gold lid. It appears to be a beige colour, and is only available in this shade. I think it would have been better to do a couple of shades, as it’s going to be too deep for super pale skintones, and too light for deeper skintones.
The swatch shows the Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Base Primer swatched at intensity, and you wouldn’t apply that much product to your lids, so it’s hard to tell what it would look like the eyelids, and if it would work with lighter shadows.
I hope it can be applied a little sheerer, and the formula is similar to the MAC Paint Pots. If you like the look of the Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Base Primer, it’s £7 and available right now.
