Revolution have launched a brand-new eyeshadow palette from their Pro sister brand. The Revolution Pro Romance New Neutral Eyeshadow Palette is another palette in their New Neutral collection, like their New Neutral Blushed Eyeshadow Palette.
Revolution Pro Romance New Neutral Eyeshadow Palette
The Revolution Pro Romance New Neutral Eyeshadow Palette is £14.99 and contains 18 powder eyeshadows in three rows of six shades, in a mix of different finishes.
The first palette Revolution Pro launched in this series was the New Neutral Palette, and that palette was ‘inspired’ by the Huda Beauty New Nude Palette, but they’ve gone on to create more, unique palettes in this series.
The Revolution Pro Romance New Neutral Eyeshadow Palette is said to be packed with an alluring array of muted burgundy, rose golds, neutrals, passionate purples and stand out iridescent pigments.
This 18 panned shadow palette is made up of matte, reflective, pearl and glitter pigments to create looks that will leave you with an ultra sultry look.
Looking at the shades inside the palette, the shadows appear to have a strong warm toned theme. The shades look so pretty, with some super pretty multi-dimensional duochrome shades such as Crush and Obsess.
However, looking at the swatches, these beautiful shades look a lot less impressive and flat which is such a shame. These swatches look muted and bland, and not half as impressive as they look in the palette photos.
It looked so promising and beautiful, however the swatches don’t look like a £15 palette in terms of pigment and prettiness. The multi-dimensional duochrome shades are seemingly not multi-dimensional at all once swatches.
I was so tempted by this palette after seeing the photos of the palette, but these swatches just don’t wow me like their I Heart Revolution Chocolate Bar Palettes, and they’re £6 cheaper too. It’s such a shame as the packaging is so pretty, with a lilac and gold foil leopard print design.
