Revolution Pro is Revolution’s more professional sister brand, with slightly more luxe packaging, and more elevated formulas. They all looked so beautiful, and I couldn’t wait to give them a try.
“The Revolution Pro Moments Eye Palettes are a collection of 6 pan shadow palettes. These buttery soft, highly pigmented matte and shimmer shades will have your eye looks looking amazing.
Choose from emerald greens, subtle nudes, purple tones and pink pigments. These palettes are the perfect compact addition to your makeup collection!“
Whilst £10 might sound expensive for just six shades, compared to other Revolution palettes, these eyeshadow pans are really quite large, giving you 1.13g of product per shadow.
The first time I saw the Revolution Pro Moments Eyeshadow Palettes, they instantly reminded me of the colour coded Charlotte Tilbury palettes.
Charlotte Tilbury have a collection of quads which are designed to complement different eye colours, and that’s the main aim of the Revolution Pro Moments Eyeshadow Palettes collection too.
Let’s take a look at the six beautiful eyeshadow palettes….
The first of the Revolution Pro Moments Eyeshadow Palettes is Mesmerizing, and this palette has a pretty pink and mauve colour story. This was the palette I was most looking forward to trying, as I just love mauves and pinks.
The Mesmerizing palette contains a mauve toned brown matte, a champagne gold foil, a metallic mauve shimmer, a light brown matte, a deep burgundy foil and a matte cream.
The second palette from the four is the Enchanting Palette, which is the green themed palette in the collection, with a couple of neutrals too.
The Enchanting Palette includes a deep forest green matte, a mint green foil, a metallic emerald green shimmer, a light brown matte, a emerald green shimmer with a gold duochrome shift and a matte cream.
The third palette in the Revolution Pro Moments Eyeshadow Palettes is the Bewitching Palette. This is the most traditionally neutral palette within the four-piece collection, and contains a mix of browns and golds.
Inside the Bewitching Palette there is a deep cool toned dark brown matte, a yellow gold shimmer, a rose gold foil, a light brown matte, a copper foil and a matte cream.
Inside the Captivating Palette there is a deep aubergine matte, a cool toned chocolate brown matte with silver glitter, a cool toned gold foil, a cool toned taupe brown matte, deep purple satin and a matte cream.
I am blown away by these Revolution Pro Moments Eyeshadow Palettes. The quality of every single shadow is amazing, and I’d go as far to say they’re some of the best drugstore eyeshadow palettes I’ve ever tried.
The mattes are unbelievably creamy and smooth, the foils apply like they’re creams, and they look like they could be highend shadows on the lids.
I love all four palettes so much, but if I had to choose a favourite, I think it would have to be Mesmerizing, as I just love a cool toned mauve palette, but I love all four palettes.
I also really appreciate that every single palette within the collection features a matte cream for laying down as an eyeshadow base, as well as matte light brown in either warm or cool tones, to work as a transitional shade for any makeup look. They’re such well thought out palettes, and I cannot recommend them enough, they are so so good!
