Revolution Pro Glow Lip Balm Collection
“Give the gift of luscious lips with the Revolution PRO Glow Lip Balm Collection. Featuring four exclusive lip balms with a gorgeous vanilla butter aroma and antioxidant and vitamin E formula to hydrate, nourish and add a subtle wash of colour to lips. Suitable for all skin tones.“
The Revolution Pro Glow Lip Balm Collection is £15 full price, but it’s on sale for £7.50 at Beauty Bay, and £10.50 on the Revolution website, so you’ll be able to make a decent saving as part of the Cyber Week sales going on right now.
The Revolution Pro Glow Lip Balm Collection features four full sized lip balms, as part of the Revolution Pro Glow range. I ordered my set online, and was really surprised by how high quality and luxurious the packaging is for a drugstore range.
Each of the lip balms have gold, metal casing like you’d see on a high-end product. What’s more, the lip balms have magnetic lids too, like luxury high-end lipsticks.
They feel so heavy, and it’s hard to believe they work out at just £3.75 each when they’re £15. Now they’re £7.50 at Beauty Bay, they’re now £1.87 which is just crazy!
The Revolution Pro Glow Lip Balm Collection includes four shades of tinted lip balm, and I can tell you, the formula and finish is a spot-on dupe for the NARS Afterglow Lip Balms.
I own two different shades of the NARS Afterglow Lip Balm, so I’ve been able to test the NARS balms versus the Revolution version, and I can’t believe how extremely similar they are. One NARS lip balm is £23, and this set is now £7.50 for four – that’s a huge saving!
They’re all named with different shade names, but the end result is very similar on the lips. With a sheer hint of pink, and a very subtle shimmer.
You can only notice the shimmer up close, just like you can with the NARS version, so don’t be put off by how shimmery the bullets look in my photos. Look at the swatches – you can’t see the shimmer. They’re just pretty hints of pink, and they would suit any skintone.
I really like that they have a vanilla scent, and they feel buttery and smooth on the lips. They’re so quick to apply, and one layer imparts a tiny hint of a tint, and two or three layers will build the tint up a little more, but they’re still very sheer – like you’d expect from a tinted lip balm.
The Revolution Pro Glow Lip Balm Collection is such a lovely set, and if you know someone that loves lip balms, or lip products in general, they’d love this set. The four shades included are;
- Nude
- Peach
- Pink
- Berry
All four shades are pretty, and they are the perfect lip product to swipe on and go, as you don’t have to worry about feathering or bleeding – which is my favourite kind of lip product, and the set is available for a very limited time right now.
