The new Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Look Palettes launched last week, and they’ve been an instant hit. The Revolution Pro Diamonds and Pearls Eyeshadow Palette is just one of six different palettes, and I’ve already dedicated a post to the stunning So Jaded Palette.
Each of the Ultimate Eye Look Palettes have a different packaging design, and they have the most luxurious design I’ve ever seen for a drugstore palette. (You can read my full review of this palette here)
Revolution Pro Diamonds and Pearls Eyeshadow Palette
The six palettes within the collection are:
- Wild Onyx – grey, black, white and silver
- Ocean Treasure – cream, royal blue, silver and navy blue
- Hidden Jewels – cream, purple, silver and violet
- So Jaded – cream, deep green, gold and forest green
- Quartz Crush – cream, pink, rose gold and burgundy
- Diamonds & Pearls – peach, brown, gold and cream
The six quads are all £10 each, and they (obviously) contain four powder eyeshadows. There are some really pretty colour ways, and I’d use them all except the bright blue one. The new palettes are actually called the Revolution Pro Ultimate Eye Look Palettes on the box, but that name isn’t on their website or on Superdrug.
For £10, your four different eyeshadow pans each contain 0.8g of product, so they really aren’t the biggest of eyeshadow shades which is a shame as the compacts are quite big compared to the pan sizes.
What makes this particular palette collection so unique, is their ornate embellished lid designs which some have said is similar to the design of the Chantecaille quads.
I have actually ordered this Revolution Pro Diamonds and Pearls Eyeshadow Palette as it looked like the quad I’d get the most use out of, so I’ll definitely let you know what the quality is like once I’ve tried it.
The Revolution Pro Diamonds and Pearls Eyeshadow Palette has lots of iridescent beads all over the cover, with twelve pearls which complements the name of the palette really well.
I’ve been reading the comments on Instagram on posts on these palettes, and people are complaining that the quads only contain shimmer shades.
This palette looks like it might have a matte for the dark brown shade, but the other three are shimmery. Even if the Revolution Pro Diamonds and Pearls Eyeshadow Palette only contained shimmers, I know I’d still get a lot of wear out of it and I can’t wait to try it.
