Revolution more often than not, create dupes of higher end products, and it’s always fun to try and guess which product they’re trying to dupe with each of their launches.
Revolution Prime Bright Brightening Primer
“The Makeup Revolution Prime Bright Brightening Primer is the ultimate brightening primer. Enriched with vitamin C and brightening orange blossom, this hydrating and brightening primer is the perfect make up base. Perfect for use after your skincare routine and before makeup application to leave you with a brighter complexion and glowy finish.”
The Revolution Prime Bright Brightening Primer is currently only available from ULTA, where it’s on sale for $12 for 27ml / 0.91 oz of product. The primer appears to be packaged within an orange coloured glass bottle, with a pump dispenser.
When I first saw the Revolution Prime Bright Brightening Primer, I did wonder whether it was attempting to dupe the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Primer. However, this primer contains vitamin C and brightening orange blossom, so I think it’s possibly trying to dupe the Smashbox Vitamin Glow Primer.
I’ve never tried the Smashbox version, so I can’t draw comparisons, but the claims are similar. I think this primer sounds lovely, and in addition to this new primer, the brand has also launched a Skin Bright Brightening Makeup Serum which should be available on the Revolution website very soon.
