Revolution Molten Body Glow Face and Body Liquid Illuminator
The Fenty Body Lava is essentially a liquid highlighter for the face and body, with a super intense metallic glow and is available in a number of shades to complement all skintones.
As pretty as the Body Lava is, it’s £46 so everyone has been waiting for Revolution to step up with a dupe, and it’s finally here, thanks to the Revolution Glow Molten Body Glow.
The Revolution Molten Body Glow s available in just three shades, contains 100ml and is $17 at ULTA right now. You can purchase the Revolution Body Glow via the Revolution website too, where it’s £15.
It’s expensive compared to the prices we’re used to paying when it comes to Revolution Glow products, but the packaging looks stunning. With chunky, glass bottles with a metallic lid and pump dispenser.
Also, if you compare it to their Glow Revolution shimmer sprays for the face and body, they’re £10 with plastic bottles with a not very concentrated formula. The Revolution Molten Body Glow collection look very luxe for a drugstore brand.
The Revolution Molten Body Glow Face and Body Liquid Illuminator is available in the following three shades;
- Warm Bronze – for dark to deep skintones
- Rose Gold – light to medium skintones
- Gold – for medium to dark skintones
Looking at the shade descriptions, there doesn’t appear to be an option for those with fair skintones, and these three circular swatches all look so dark, so I hope they’ll extend their shade range in the future as Fenty have a shade for fair skin.

Isododecane, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Mica, Hydrogenated Styrene/Isoprene Copolymer, Acrylates/Polytrimethylsiloxymethacrylate Copolymer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Benzoate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Salicylate, Coumarin, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Limonene, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491 (Iron Oxides).
Revolution claim their Revolution Molten Body Glow will transform regular skin into a divine, high-shine bronze, and to glide onto the collarbones, shoulders, arms and legs.
It looks like the formula is super pigmented, so these 100ml bottles will last for a very long time, and it’s a great more Fenty Beauty Body Lava Dupe.
In addition to launching the three Molten Glow shades, Revolution also launched their Glow Body Blending Brush, which looks like an amazing dupe for the Huda Beauty N.Y.M.P.H Body Blur & Glow Brush.
The brush will be great for buffing in the product into the skin, and I can’t wait to see swatches, as the three shades all look so pretty.
