The Revolution Liquid Powder Pore Blurring Makeup Serum has launched today as a very exciting dupe for the Farsali Liquid Powder Serum. Revolution are known for creating very good, budget-friendly dupes for higher end products, and this particular launch looks extremely similar to the Farsali version – even the same blush pink bottle.

The Revolution Liquid Powder Pore Blurring Makeup Serum is £10 / $12 and contains 19ml / 0.64 fl. oz within a blush, pink glass bottle with a pipette dispenser.
The writing on the Revolution Liquid Powder Pore Blurring Makeup Serum bottle is gold foil, and the packaging is practically identical to the Farsali Liquid Powder Serum.
Let’s compare ingredients;
Revolution: Aqua (Water, Eau) Silica, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Kaolin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Geraniol.
Farsali: Water/Aqua/Eau, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Silica, Isopentyldiol, Ethoxydiglycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate, Hectorite, Illite, Montmorillonite, Kaolin, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hexylene Glycol, Benzoic Acid, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Mentha Arvensis Leaf Oil, Menthol.
From the ingredients list, they clearly differ, with the Farsali version offering a lot more skincare friendly ingredients compared to Revolution. Plus Revolution have included perfume, whereas Farsali haven’t.
Without trying both versions, it’s impossible to say if it’s a true genuine dupe, but it’s exciting that Revolution have created a very similar product, with the same pink clay benefits, and it’s available right now.
