Laminated brows is a massive trend right now, and the Revolution Laminate Brow Duo is Revolution’s answer to laminate brows minus the commitment and cost of having the professional brow lamination treatment in a beauty salon.
“1,2, SET! Are you ready to raise some brows? Get that brow lamination look at home with our 2-in-1 Laminate Brow. Serious sculpt and staying power in just 2 simple steps.
First create your perfect shape with our hairstroke-effect angled pencil, then laminate & set your brows in place with the brow gel brush for a full, brushed up look (even on sparse brows). Simple application, salon results – no brow tech needed!”
This year has been all about the brow lamination brow gels and serum liquid blushers, and the Revolution Laminate Brow Duo is a two in one product to help you achieve a brow lamination effect for only £7.99.
This duo includes a micro angled brow pencil for creating hair-like strokes throughout the brows, and then the gel is designed to set your brow hairs in place for a long lasting, textured and fluffy brow look.
There are five shades to choose from, and I opted for Granite, as I have natural dark brown, almost black brows, so cool toned dark browns are my go-to, and Granite looked perfect – and it is!
It’s super easy to use the Revolution Laminate Brow Duo, as you just fill in your brows like you would with any brow pencil, and then finish with the clear brow gel and apply it with the spoolie brush.
In terms of size, the spoolie is very small and the stem of the wand is quite flexible, so you can really get to the roots of your brow heirs to ensure they’re evenly coated.
Revolution has a lot of clear brow gels, but I kinda wished they had the gel within the Revolution Laminate Brow Duo as a separate product as it’s really good.
I wasn’t wowed by the NYX Brow Glue, but this brow gel within this lamination duo is a lot more effective. It gives that cute fluffy, textured brow look and locks the brows in place all day without feeling crispy or hard, so I’m a big fan!
