Brow lamination is becoming increasingly more popular on social media, and the Revolution Laminate Brow Duo Collection is said to give you a brow lamination effect for a fraction of the price.
Revolution has a few exciting new launches coming our way over the next couple of weeks, and for one, can’t wait to try the Revolution Laminate Brow Duo.
So what is brow lamination? You’ve probably seen the brow lamination videos on Instagram. It’s basically a two-step brow perming treatment, which is a process that corrects the brow’s shape by setting the brow hairs in place by using a chemical solution.
The first step of brow lamination includes a cream that breaks down the bonds in the brow hairs, so they can be manipulated into a new position. Plus eyebrow lamination can change the direction of growth of brow hairs, to create a more uniform look with a higher arch and a more desirable brow shape
Brow Lamination is a pricey treatment to have, and it’s something you typically have done in a salon, which isn’t easy right now with the tiers and waiting lists so the Revolution Laminate Brow Duo is designed to give you a brow lamination effect minus the commitment and high price of brow lamination.
“1,2, SET! Are you ready to raise some brows? Get that brow lamination look at home with our 2-in-1 Laminate Brow. Serious sculpt and staying power in just 2 simple steps.
First create your perfect shape with our hairstroke-effect angled pencil, then laminate & set your brows in place with the brow gel brush for a full, brushed up look (even on sparse brows). Simple application, salon results – no brow tech needed!“
The Revolution Laminate Brow Duo is only available in four shades, and they’re £7.99 each; Bronde, Medium Brown, Dark Brown and Granite. It’s not the most inclusive shade range, with nothing for those with blonde hair, auburn or grey hair.
The Revolution Laminate Brow Duo includes a clear brow gel on one side, with a small tapered brush for even application. On the opposite end there’s a conventional brow pencil allowing you to create your desired brow shape first, before finishing with the gel.
To create a brow laminated effect, you have to brush the brow hairs up, so the Revolution Laminate Brow Duo must have a strong clear brow gel to create the effect shown in these model photos.
The brows on both models do look like they’ve had brow lamination, so it’s an exciting Revolution launch, and I can’t wait to try it myself..
