Revolution has launched two new blusher palettes, and I’m really excited about them! The Revolution Golden Desire Ultra Blush Palette and the Revolution Golden Soul Ultra Blush Palette are two new products, except they’re kinda a throwback to when Revolution first started. Revolution Golden Desire Ultra Blush Palette
Revolution used to have a whole range of Ultra Blush Palettes in a range of finishes, tones and colour stories. They each contained eight shades, and they were one of the first accessible, affordable multiple blusher palettes within Superdrug when they first launched in 2015.
Since then, the brand has become massive, and they tend to have slightly more luxe packaging for their products, and the Ultra Blush Palettes do have quite basic packaging, but what’s amazing, is the price of the two new Ultra Blush Palettes is the same as they were when they first launched in 2015.
I have four of the Revolution Ultra Blush Palettes in my collection, and I reviewed the All About Pink Palette and the Golden Sugar Palette on my other blog back in 2015. The new Revolution Golden Desire Ultra Blush Palette has exactly the same packaging, same format and same price as they originally did, and as soon as I saw the two new palettes, I ordered them, and can’t wait to try them!
“Introducing the newest addition to our blush family, Golden Desire. With 8 exclusive and unique shades in each palette, these colours can be used individually for a simpler look or combined for a more dramatic creation!
With a selection of matte and shimmers, you will be spoilt for choice and will be able to alternate between a shiny shimmer or majestic matte.”
The Revolution Golden Desire Ultra Blush Palette is £6, and it contains eight powder blushers both in a pressed formula and a baked formula, with a mixture of matte and shimmery finishes.
As I mentioned above, the Revolution Golden Desire Ultra Blush Palette has the same basic (yet functional) packaging as they initially did, but it’s lightweight, and handy as the clear lid allows you to see the shades inside the palette.
The Revolution Golden Desire Ultra Blush Palette doesn’t feature individual shade names (none of the Ultra Blush palettes did) but we can see the palette contains two marbled, baked blushers, two matte blushers, one satin blusher and three shimmer blushers.
These palettes are fantastic as you can mix the shades together easily, but the pans are large enough that you don’t have to worry about picking up product from the surrounding shades. £6 for eight blushers is amazing, and I’m so excited to try the two new palettes, and they’re available right now.
