The Revolution Glow summer collection launched this week, and like the name suggests, it’s all about the glow. The Revolution Glow Splendour Ultra Matte Bronzer £8 is just one of the products in the new summer collection.
There is also the Revolution Molten Body Glow Face and Body Liquid Illuminator, Revolution Heatwave Glow Shadow Palette, Revolution Glow Body Blending Brush and Revolution Beam Dream Face and Body Illuminating Primer.
Revolution Glow Splendour Ultra Matte Bronzer
In all honesty, I really don’t think Revolution needed to launch yet another bronzer, just weeks after they launched the Revolution Pro Sculpting Bronzer.
Especially as both bronzer formulas are matte, but this new bronzer is part of the Glow collection yet has a matte finish which is quite the oxymoron, but keep reading if you want to know more about this new bronzer collection.
The Revolution Glow Splendour Ultra Matte Bronzer is described as being a large, matte bronzer for an all year round tan.
It’s also been created to have an added coconut and pineapple fragrance, so that it smells like summer.
There are six different shades of the bronzer;
- Light
- Medium
- Medium Dark
- Deep
- Dark
- Deep Dark

Now we’ve seen swatches, they all look very dark.
The Revolution Glow Splendour Ultra Matte Bronzer is £8 / $12 and contains 15.5g of product within a large, rose gold metallic compact with a starburst design on the lid. You get a lot of product for your money, so it’d be great for both the face and body.
I think it’s great that they’ve included a mix of tones as well as shades, with a shade for fair skin and a shade for deep skintones too.
None of the shades look overly orange like a lot of matte bronzers, and I think it’s cute they’ve made the bronzer scented.
