Revolution has launched a brand new brow kit to their range; the Revolution Glossy Brow Eyebrow Kit. The brand has an extensive brow collection with gels, powders, pomades and tints, and this new offering is said to be a mousse pomade to add both colour and hold.
“Introducing Glossy Brow, a must-have addition to your current brow routine. Fix those hairs in place and reveal fabulous, feathered and fluffy brows! Glossy Brow comes with a spoolie and angled brush for precise and perfect application every time.”
Medium appears to be a very warm toned mid-brown, whereas Dark appears to be a cool toned deep brown. There isn’t anything which would work for blonde or fair haired brows, but maybe they’ll introduce more shades at a later date.
I think a lighter, ashy toned brown would be a good addition to the range for those that prefer cooler toned brow shades, but if you can’t find a decent shade match of the Revolution Glossy Brow Eyebrow Kit, the XX Revolution FleeXX Brow Pomades are available in six shades and look similar.
The Revolution Glossy Brow Eyebrow Kit is a little square compact, with a mirror inside the lid, the pan of product as well as two mini tools. You get a mini angled brush to help you perfect the shape of your brows, as well as a mini spoolie to brush through your brows once you’ve applied the mousse pomade.
I really hope Revolution add swatches to their website, so we can see the shades better and also get an idea of the texture / finish.
It sounds like it could be similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, but the mention of ‘mousse’ in the description would suggest it’s perhaps a thinner consistency than the Dipbrow Pomade, which is a thick, dense cream.
Plus, the mention of ‘glossy’ within the name, suggests it dries down to a shiny finish, and if you fancy giving it a try, it’s available right now.
