I have another launch from the Revolution Glass Collection to show you, and this time it’s the Revolution Glass Shimmer Fix Iridescent Fixing Spray. This particular product was one that was previewed in an Instagram post by the owner of Revolution on his Instagram page, and it generated quite a lot of hype within the comments. This collection actually features two different setting sprays, one of them being a ‘Shimmer’ spray and the other being a ‘Glow’ spray.
Revolution Glass Shimmer Fix Iridescent Fixing Spray
The Revolution Glass Shimmer Fix Iridescent Fixing Spray is designed to leave the skin glowing with hydration, whilst the subtle shimmer particles are perfect for creating the unmistakable ‘glass skin’ glow. The ultra-fine, weightless mist provides ultimate hydration and luminosity to complexions and helps prevent pesky smudges or patchiness.
Directions
Use before makeup to create a glow from within, or after to provide the shimmering-touches to your look and to fix in place.
Ingredients
Aqua (Water, Eau), Alcohol Denat., Propylene Glycol, Caffeine, Glycerin, Benzyl Alcohol, Amp-Acrylates/Allyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Parfum (Fragrance), Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, , Carica Papaya Fruit Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aesculus Hippocastanum Seed Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Retinyl Palmitate, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Panthenol, Sorbitol , Linseed Acid , Tin Oxide, Tocopherol, Limonene, Linalool, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide).
The Revolution Glass Shimmer Fix Iridescent Fixing Spray is £8 and contains 100ml in a clear plastic bottle. The outside of the bottle has a holographic effect, which matches the holographic effect on the box of the Glass Illuminator and Black Ice Shadow Palette.
The bottle of the Revolution Glass Shimmer Fix Iridescent Fixing Spray has a silver chrome pump which looks so sleek, and is different to any of the other Revolution setting sprays.
The ingredients show that this spray contains glycerin as well as some other skin friendly ingredients such as horse chestnut seed extract, aloe vera, papaya fruit extract and sunflower seed oil.
In the video of the Revolution Glass Shimmer Fix Iridescent Fixing Spray, the spray looked very glittery which is something to bear in mind if you don’t like glitter.
It’s described as being shimmery, but the video shows very obvious glitter which isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you like a pretty, sparkly finish to your makeup, but if you don’t like glitter all over your face, the Glow Mist might be a better option.
