Revolution may have been a little quiet over Christmas, but they’ve kick started 2020 with lots of new launches including the Revolution Forever Flawless Bird of Paradise Eyeshadow Palette. The new launches are well-timed for those who are looking to splash the Christmas cash, or looking to try something new with the new year.
Whenever Revolution launch something new, you can guarantee there’s at least one palette in the collection, and they’ve really gone to town with their new year collection. The Revolution Forever Flawless Bird of Paradise Eyeshadow Palette is one of their hottest new launches, and it’s not one for those that are intimidated by colour.
Revolution’s Forever Flawless collection is growing bigger, month by month. The Forever Flawless collection are eyeshadow palettes, packaged within tins. There are now 13 to choose from, and they’re all £10 each with eighteen shades inside.
The Revolution Forever Flawless Bird of Paradise Palette has the most vibrant design, with a super bold parrot plumage on the front. It is giving me serious Mardi Gras vibes, and that’s before you even opened the lid.

Containing a collection of matte, glitter and shimmer shades, as well as their latest bouncy formula giving you gentle yet luminous payoff when you apply it with a finger. With 18 exotic shades, including sun-sational oranges, bright blues to blazing yellows.
MICA, TALC, HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE, DIMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, CALCIUM ALUMINUM BOROSILICATE, SILICA, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAISOSTEARATE, BORON NITRIDE, POLYISOBUTYLENE, PHENOXYETHANOL, TRIETHOXYCAPRYLYLSILANE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, TRIMETHYLSILOXYSILICATE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, TIN OXIDE, CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE), CI 77491 (IRON OXIDE).
The Revolution Forever Flawless Bird of Paradise Eyeshadow Palette is a bright eyeshadow lover’s dream, especially as it’s packed with mattes, and colourful mattes are hard to come by.
13 of the 18 shades are matte, there’s two pressed glitters, one shimmer and two bouncy shimmer shades too. The shades are all extremely bright, except for Hot Tropic which is the only neutral inside the whole palette.
Bright mattes can have the tendency to be on the chalky side, but the swatches on the Revolution website look very promising.
My personal favourite shades are Tail Feather and Exotic, but this palette is a must-have for any festivals or carnivals you have lined up for 2020. It’s a party in a palette, and for £10, you really can’t go wrong.
