Revolution Face Off Sparkle Peel Off Face Mask

Let me introduce the new Revolution Face Off Sparkle Peel Off Face Mask collection. Everyone loves a peel off face mask, there’s just something so satisfying about trying to peel off your face mask in one go.

There’s quite a few brands creating glitter based peeling face mask, with the GLAMGLOW GravityMud being the first, which started a whole craze of face masks filled with glitter.

With the major shift towards being more environmentally conscious, the inclusion of glitter is a strange one as it obviously doesn’t make the mask any more effective so it is just a gimmick.

However, the new Revolution Face Off Sparkle Peel Off Face Mask range include plastic free glitter, which is much kinder on the environment.

The Revolution Face Off Sparkle Peel Off Face Mask collection consists of three different masks, all of which are £6 and contain 50ml. The three masks are different colours which I thought might be the only difference, but they do have different benefits too.

They all come in plastic tubes, with white flip top lids. Depending on the colour of the mask, there’s a band of holographic colour around the top of the tube to complement the colour of the mask inside too.

This new collection of peel off face masks, contain plastic-free glitter to help you shimmer your way to better skin. The sparkling treatments will help you to hydrate and exfoliate the skin, whilst looking ‘dazzling’ in the process.

Revolution encourage us to post #maskmonday selfies on social media whilst wearing these masks, and there’re three masks to choose from.

Mask Directions

  • Apply the mask to clean and dry skin.
  • Avoid applying the mask near the hair, eyes, eyebrows and lips.
  • Wait for 20 minutes before gently peeling the mask off
  • Remove any residual product with warm water
  • Use the masks 1-2 times per week, as needed.

Whilst the glitter doesn’t help the skin in any way, it’s a fun gimmick if you do fancy trying a glittery peel off mask. It’s great that it’s plastic free, but I hope it’s biodegradable glitter as I haven’t seen that mentioned anywhere on the Revolution website.

Another brand that offers glitter peel off face masks for an affordable price are T Zone, and their glitter is biodegradable, so I’d like to think Revolution have used a similar glitter.

The difference between the two brands is that these Revolution masks are £6 for 50ml which will give you several uses, but the T Zone masks are one use masks, and are £2.99 each so the Revolution Face Off Sparkle Peel Off Face Mask is much better value in comparison.
