The Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer has launched as the latest complexion product from Revolution, and has launched at ULTA exclusively initially, but is now available on the Revolution website too.
Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer
Revolution are forever launching new products, but it’s been a while since we saw a new concealer. There was a concealer within the XX Revolution launch back in the early summer, but the brand’s last concealer launch was the Heartbreakers Concealer back in January.
The Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer is $10, and is only available in a small amount of shades. Revolution are very vocal about being inclusive, yet this concealer is only available in eight shades. There’s only one shade for people of colour, and that’s not enough.
“Tired eyes, THIS is your wakeup call! Makeup Revolution’s Eye Bright Concealer has been specially formulated to target under-eye circles, offering flexible buildable coverage with a max-level hit of vitamin C to actively treat the area as you conceal!
Featuring a fluffy flocked sponge applicator, this brightening concealer can be used to conceal blemishes, redness and seamlessly erase under eye bags for an instantly brightened effect. The smooth, creamy formula blends beautifully for an undetectable finish- no retouch required!“
The Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer is available in the following eight shades;
- Porcelain – fairest skin tones with pink undertones
- Fair – fairest skin tones with yellow undertones
- Light – fair skin tones with neutral undertones
- Medium – medium skin tones with neutral undertones
- Tan – deeper medium skin with yellow undertones
- Caramel – medium/dark skin tones with red/warm undertones
- Deep Caramel – deep skin tones with neutral undertones
- Warm Chestnut – dark skin tones with neutral undertones
I imagine that the Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer is going to be launching alongside a powder, because the description recommends setting the concealer with the Eye Bright Setting Powder.
This concealer is the brand’s first foray into sponge applicator concealers, so you can dab directly onto the skin and blend with fingertips, a sponge or makeup brush. I wish there was a better shade range, to complement the diverse range of shades the brand can offer in their other ranges, but it’s available right now.
