I have two new palettes to show you today, from Revolution; the Revolution Euphoric Foil Palettes. Revolution have dabbled with ‘foil’ eyeshadow formulas a few times now, but these are brand-new nine pan palettes in two different colour ways.
Revolution Euphoric Foil Palettes
The Revolution Euphoric Foil Palettes are available in two different palettes; House of Fun, and also Sparkle Up. It’s possible there will be more palettes in the range, but right now there are just these two to choose from.
Their Revolution Foil Frenzy palettes are £8 each with fifteen foil finish eyeshadows. These palettes only contain nine, are more expensive at £10 each which is a little strange.
Especially as the packaging on these two new palettes aren’t as high quality as the Foil Frenzy palettes either.
The Foil Frenzy palettes have sleek plastic packaging, whereas the Revolution Euphoric Foil Palettes are just cardboard.
I am looking forward to seeing the swatches of the Revolution Euphoric Foil Palettes, to see how the formula, finish and opacity compares to their Foil Frenzy palettes to see if the price increase is justified, especially when you’re getting six shades less.
These crumbled pan swatches do look promising, and if anything, they actually look like they have a wet cream to powder finish, similar to the ColourPop Super Shock Shadows, but until we see proper swatches, we won’t know for sure.
The Revolution Euphoric Foil Palettes in Sparkle Up looks to be more yellow and gold toned, whereas House of Fun is much more reddy and bronze toned in comparison.
They both look pretty, and I’d be tempted by them both if the swatches look promising once Revolution finally reveal the swatches.
