Revolution seemingly loves to kickstart the year with a mascara launch. The Revolution 5D Whip Lift Ultimate Lift Mascara is the brand’s newest mascara formula to join their collection of over 50 mascaras (yes, really).
On New Year’s Day 2022, the Revolution 5D Lash Pow Volumising Mascara launched, and this latest mascara to launch, joins their 5D mascara range. If you’d like the low-down on this newest lash launch, keep on reading…
Revolution 5D Whip Lift Ultimate Lift Mascara
The Revolution 5D Whip Lift Ultimate Lift Mascara is £9.99 for 12ml / 0.40 fl. oz of product, but it has initially launched with an introductory deal of £7.99. Revolution mascaras are definitely getting up ‘there’ in price.
When the brand launched originally, their mascaras like their Viper Mascara (which was £3) and their Mascara Revolution Mascara (which was £8).
Having mascaras around the £10 price point, puts them at the same level as Maybelline, Max Factor and Rimmel.
Although, Revolution seem to permanently have some sort of promo code or offer running on their website, so you should be able to get the mascara with a little discount if you don’t purchase it whilst it has the introductory offer available.
“Whip up every lash! For a salon lash lift effect that lasts all day. Introducing the 5D Whip Lift Mascara, Revolution’s best mascara yet for long, lifted lashes – no salon needed!
What’s behind the lash lift technology…? The expertly designed brush has a unique twisted vortex shape that grabs every lash from the root and directs it upwards to give the ultimate lifted look. The ultra-black ink formula is created for long-lasting results. That means no smudging, no crumbling and absolutely no drooping throughout the day.“
The Revolution 5D Whip Lift Ultimate Lift Mascara is housed within a bright pink, chunky plastic tube. It is described as offer a salon lash lift effect in a bottle, giving you maximum lift, length and volume all-in-one.
Its formula is enriched with both nourishing castor oil and argan oil, both of which are known to condition and improve lash health. Whilst the mascara features a vortex shaped brush, allowing the bristles to cling to the root of each individual eyelash, directing the lashes upwards.
Revolution 5D Whip Lift Ultimate Lift Mascara claims to have no crumbling, no drooping, and no smudging during the day. As well as working on all lash types, as well as being suitable for contact lens wearers.
Aqua (water, eau), cera carnauba (copernicia cerifera [carnauba] wax, cire de carnauba), glyceryl stearate, vp/hexadecene copolymer, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, synthetic beeswax, polyvinyl alcohol, acrylates copolymer, palmitic acid, stearic acid, propanediol, oryza sativa (rice) bran wax, octyldodecanol, 1,2-hexanediol, hydroxyacetophenone, panthenol, rhus verniciflua peel cera (rhus verniciflua peel wax), sodium hydroxide, caprylhydroxamic acid, argania spinosa kernel oil, ci 77499 (iron oxides).
The whole ‘whipped’ mascara trend is popular right now, with other mascara brands claiming their formulas are whipped, such as the L’Oreal AIR Volume Mega Mascara.
In the above before and after photos, the model’s lashes do look amazing after using this mascara. This mascara has a natural bristled wand.
Which appears to have bristles very close together on one side of the wand, and then more spaced out bristles on the other side, which is different to any other Revolution mascara in the range, and it’s available right now.
