Every Christmas, Revolution creates a mega 196 shade eyeshadow palette, and the Revolution 196 Stars Eyeshadow Palette is this year’s offering.
It appears that the Revolution Christmas 2020 collection has an unofficial star theme this year, as the sets have stars on their packaging, then this palette has stars within the name.
Revolution 196 Stars Eyeshadow Palette
The Revolution 196 Stars Eyeshadow Palette is £15 which is typical for their 196 pan palettes, but they do always get reduced to £10 around Black Friday. So if you like the look of this palette, it might be worthwhile holding out until it’s discounted further.

The Revolution 196 Stars Eyeshadow Palette features 196 eyeshadows which contain 0.79g per shade which isn’t very much. It’s still a large palette with a total of 156g, but each pan is very small. If they did the pans any larger, this palette would be massive.
This palette has every colour you could possibly want; reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blue, indigos and violets. There’s a black, and a mix of mattes, satins, shimmers, and metallics too.
If you’ve tried the Revolution eyeshadow palettes, the quality of their 196 pan palettes are no way near as good quality as their main range palettes. The palette is £15 and gives you 196 shades, so the quality is never going to be groundbreaking, but they’re great palettes if you’re wanting to experiment with colour, or you’re starting out in makeup.
