If you read a lot of beauty blogs, I'd take a guess that you've seen a lot of mentions on the new REN Perfect Canvas Jelly Oil Cleanser. The product has been mass promoted, and seems like it's featured as an AD on Instagram Stories every five minutes. REN have launched the new cleanser as part of the Perfect Canvas collection which also features their Perfect Canvas Primer.
REN Perfect Canvas Jelly Oil Cleanser
The REN Perfect Canvas Jelly Oil Cleanser is described as being gentle yet effective, and is clinically proven to even remove waterproof makeup, pollution and also SPF from the skin.
The cleanser is housed in a tube made from 50% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic, with a 100% PCR cap. It's dermatologically tested to be safe for all skin types, even dry and sensitive.
The new three-phase 100% naturally derived oil-based cleanser is packed with three skin-loving seed oils: grape, sunflower and meadowfoam. Any dirt and pollution simply melts away, while glycerin locks in hydration during your cleanse.
Add it to your routine and here's what you can expect:
SPF and pollution are melted away.
Skin feels hydrated without being stripped.
Skin feels dramatically smoother.
Work jelly into dry skin and feel it turn into a rich oil that dissolves make-up, SPF and pollution. Splash water and the oil turns into a milky emulsion to wash away dirt and impurities and leaves a beautiful hydrated finish on the skin.
Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Aqua (Water), Sucrose Laurate, Limnanthes Alba Seed Oil, Parfum* (Fragrance), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Sucrose Stearate, Sucrose Palmitate, Limonene, Linalool 100% Natural Fragrance
The REN Perfect Canvas Jelly Oil Cleanser is a pricey cleanser at £25 for 100ml, and it's cruelty free and vegan friendly too. The tube is a vibrant coral colour, with a grey lid and the cleanser itself is a pastel peach colour. It sounds like a good morning cleanse, for when you're short on time and you don't want to spend ages massaging a cleansing balm into the skin.
As you massage the cleanser into the skin, it continues to have a jelly oil consistency, but once you add water into the mix, it quickly emulsifies into a milky consistency.
But it's great that it can be used to remove makeup too, as it's gentle enough to be applied to the eyes. Many cleansers really sting when you use them to remove eye makeup, but that's not the case with this new REN Perfect Canvas Jelly Oil Cleanser.
