Revolution has dropped a brand new foundation. It’s the Relove by Revolution Super Matte Foundation, which has launched under their most affordable sister brand; ReLove By Revolution, and this newest launch is the second foundation for the ReLove By Revolution brand.
When ReLove first launched, one of the first products to drop was the ReLove By Revolution Super Serum Foundation, which was more of a dewy and luminous foundation. Now there’s a foundation for those that prefer a more matte finish.

Relove by Revolution Super Matte Foundation
The ReLove By Revolution Supermatte Foundation is designed to create a smooth and matte base. The formula features SPF15, and is a 2-in-1 formula, working as both a foundation and concealer all-in-one.
Revolution claims the new foundation is non-cakey, it’s breathable, and is long-lasting on the skin for all day, full coverage.
When a foundation claims to be a foundation and concealer all-in-one, it rarely delivers, unless it has super full coverage like the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, as that really does cover absolutely everything.
So, it’ll be interesting to see proper swatches of the new Relove by Revolution Super Matte Foundation, to see how much coverage it offers.
There are only twelve shades for the Relove by Revolution Super Matte Foundation, which is disappointing, especially when Revolution is the most inclusive beauty brand in the world right now.
I wonder why they chose such a limited shade range for this particular launch? There’s 15 shades in the ReLove By Revolution Serum Foundation range, so it’s a strange one.
But at least as a brand, they have tonnes of other foundations that have amazing, diverse shade ranges that do cater for everyone.
The Relove by Revolution Super Matte Foundation is just £5, and contains only 24ml of product. Foundations typically contain 30ml as a minimum, but this is a fuller coverage foundation, so it’s possible you need less product, and that’s why there’s less than the usual Revolution foundation products.
I think the bottle looks super sleek for £5. It’s a matte, frosted glass bottle with a white screw-on cap. There’s no pump on the bottle, and it looks very similar to the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, so could the Relove by Revolution Super Matte Foundation be a dupe?
