Real Techniques recently launched their Pastel Rainbow version of their award winning sponge, and now they’ve launched the Real Techniques Polka Dot Miracle Complexion Sponge today too.
The original version of the sponge is bright orange, but the brand introduce new colours from time to time for a limited time and this is the newest shade to join their range, and it’s a Boots exclusive.

The Rounded sides blend larger areas of the face with a repeated “dabbing” or “stippling” motion.
The Precision tip covers blemishes and imperfections.
The Flat edge contours around the eyes and nose leaving you with a complexion that’s smooth, enhanced and gorgeous!
Its versatile design evenly blends makeup for a smooth, enhanced finish, use with your favourite foundation to help reduce the appearance of pores. Use damp for a dewy glow or dry for a full coverage.
The Real Techniques Polka Dot Miracle Complexion Sponge is £5.99 and the same price as the original version of the sponge.
I’m not sure why it’s called the polka dot version, as the sponge itself is a mint green colour. There are some lilac polka dots all over the plastic packaging, but there’s nothing polka dot about the sponge at all.
The mint green colour is quite cute, and it’s funny because BeautyBlender launched a new green version of their sponge today, for St Patrick’s Day however their green is a lot brighter in comparison.
