Last Christmas, Real Techniques had a 25-day advent calendar, called the 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar, which was the biggest advent calendar the brand had ever created.
However, it had very mixed reviews, as the contents included quite a lot of filler type gifts such as nail stickers, hair bobbles, hair clips and Bobby pins.
It looks as if Real Techniques have decided to revert to their 12-day advent calendar format, and this year’s calendar looks so much better than last year’s calendar.

The contents inside this year’s calendar is so much better than last year’s offering. It includes six mini makeup brushes, two sponges, tweezers, a pouch for the brushes, a silicone face mask applicator, a travel hard case for your sponge and the brush cleanser sachet.
I feel like the sachet of brush cleanser is really stingy. I’m sure they could have put 15ml to 30ml in a mini bottle, as getting a sachet of brush cleaner on one of the day’s in advent is seriously underwhelming.
Brush cleanser sachet sample aside, the Real Techniques 12 Days Of Beauty Advent Calendar 2021? is a really great calendar, and I like that half of the gifts inside the calendar are makeup brushes.
I know they’re mini, but all of the mini Real Techniques brushes I’ve tried, have been as high quality as the full sized brushes, and you can get your hands on the calendar right here.
