Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder

Super-finely milled and silky to the touch, this powder goes on light and airy to provide sheer, seamless coverage with a subtle but visible radiance and a natural finish. Extend makeup wear, blur the look of pores, and smooth skin’s texture. The custom-designed sifter locks for mess-free storage on the go.

Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder

The Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder is $22, and it contains 0.33 oz/ 9.5g of product within a clear plastic jar, with a screw-on pastel pink lid.

It’s described as being a silky, do-it-all, talc-free loose setting powder to visibly smooth, blur, and control shine for a soft natural finish and all-day comfort.

Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder

The Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder is available in just five shade variations;

  • Light – soft pink for fair to light complexions
  • Light Medium – true peach for light to medium complexions
  • Medium – warm honey for medium-to-medium deep complexions
  • Medium/Deep – golden tan for medium deep to deep complexions
  • Deep – rich mahogany for deep complexions

Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder

I think the Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder could definitely do with having a better shade range, especially as the brand hasn’t shared any swatches of the shades, so it’s impossible to see what they’d look like on the skin.

The brand recommends the loose powder as being suitable for those with oily, combination or normal skin types, so it probably wouldn’t work for those with dry skin like myself, but I love the custom sifter, as it’s designed to minimise mess during application, and it’s available right now
