PLouise are known for their popular Cosmetic Base Primers, and today the brand launched the new PLouise Baseic Cosmetic Base Summer Collection.
PLouise launches new shades pretty much every season, but this new summer collection features three pretty pastels.
PLouise Baseic Cosmetic Base Summer Collection
Believe it or not, their name doesn’t include a typo. They’re called the ‘Base’ic’ Cosmetic Base, which originally started out as one single shade, and the range has grown extensively ever since.
If you’ve never come across the PLouise brand before, they’re a UK based beauty brand owned by Paige Louise.
Her iconic product are the Cosmetic Bases which come in a multitude of different skin tone shades, but also some fun colourful shades too.
The PLouise Baseic Cosmetic Base is described as the following;
”A luxurious creamy base to create the perfect blank canvas ready for ultimate colour popping creations. With its super thick consistency and ‘no cracking’ quality, the P.Louise Base is a must have product to have in your kit.
Its full coverage formula helps to cancel out any unwanted brow hair and carve out those highly requested fleeky brows.” – PLouise
The PLouise Baseic Cosmetic Base Summer Collection includes the following three summery pastel shades;
- Cute in Coral – muted neon coral
- Yummy Yellow – pastel lemon
- Summer Blues – periwinkle blue
Whilst the three shades in the PLouise Baseic Cosmetic Base Summer Collection are marketed as being pastels, I honestly think they’re brighter than pastels. They’re so bright, colourful and fun, but I feel like they’re more muted neons than they are pastels.
They’re only £10 each, and each tube contains 15ml of product which is really generous for a product as highly pigmented as these.
I’ve never tried any of the a PLouise based before, but I would love to try one of the skin tone shades, as they sound really great, and the perfect canvas for any makeup look.
