There’s an intriguing new launch from Pixi this January, and it’s the Pixi Beauty Glow Tint Cushion. Some of the Pixi Beauty launches can be a little repetitive, but this particular new launch is a little different to what they’ve launched before, and keep on reading to find out more.
Pixi Beauty Glow Tint Cushion
“A brightening, colour correcting face tint that blends seamlessly into the skin. The sheer, buildable formula is subtly light reflecting, enlivens the complexion and gives a demi-matte, skin-like-but-fresher finish.“
The Pixi Beauty Glow Tint Cushion is a mint green plastic compact, with a cushion foundation like format, with a secondary lid to keep the cushion airtight, and includes a sponge applicator for on-the-go.
Whilst it might *look* like a foundation, it’s actually not a foundation. Petra describes it as being an awakening, correcting tint with ceramides, and it supposedly adapts to your complexion, and is universally flattering.
The Pixi Beauty Glow Tint Cushion is designed to brighten and even out the complexion, whilst blending seamlessly for a flawless, fresh finish to the skin. It can be worn sheer, or built up for more coverage, so one would assume it does offer some foundation or tinted moisturiser benefits?
I hope Pixi share some swatches of the Pixi Beauty Glow Tint Cushion on the skin, so we can see what it actually looks like in real life, as it’s only available in one shade, and there’s no way it’s going to suit every skintone, as products that claim to do so, never do.
It’d be interesting to see Pixi launch foundations and concealers though, as their product line is definitely missing complexion products, but the Pixi Beauty Glow Tint Cushion is available right now.
