The biggest beauty news today is that Patrick Starr is launching his very own beauty brand next week. Introducing Patrick Starr One Size Beauty, which is going to be a Sephora exclusive and available via his own One Size Beauty website too.
Patrick Starr One Size Beauty
Patrick Starr is one of the most talented, humble and hilarious beauty influencers in the industry so this really is amazing news that he is creating his own brand.
“Introducing ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr ⭐️ Extraordinary makeup with larger than life performances.“
There was no mention on the specific products, but Trendmood has shared an exciting exclusive on the first products launching, and they're both skincare. I think that's a really surprising choice.
Normally when a new brand launches, they launch something big and impactful to get the conversation going, and to create hype and excitement around the launch.
The first ever products One Size Beauty are launching are a packet of makeup wipes, and a makeup remover….? Makeup Wipes are pretty tone deaf at a time where there’s a massive emphasis on the damage they cause to the environment.
The two products Patrick Starr One Size Beauty are launching are;
- One Size Beauty Go Off Makeup Dissolving Mist $24
- One Size Go Off Makeup Remover Wipes $15
The One Size Beauty Go Off Makeup Dissolving Mist is described as a continuous, super-fine, no-drop mist that slips over the skin effortlessly and instantly dissolves heavy makeup without feeling tight or dry.
Applies evenly to the face and transforms into a milky foam when rinsed off with water, infused with calming Jojoba and brightening Rosehip oils to refresh and soothe skin.
The One Size Beauty Go Off Makeup Remover Wipes are described as a plush, super-sized makeup wipe that glides onto skin refreshing and fully removing makeup with just one swipe, remove makeup with ease while refreshing and soothing skin.
Each wipe is packed with good for you ingredients like Aloe and Chamomile and relaxing fragrance notes green tea, cucumber and rose.
They're also said to be safe for sensitive eyes. You only get 21 wipes, and they're going to be $15 which is really pricey for a skincare product that hasn't been created by an aesthetician.
With the whole One Size Beauty, makeup suits everyone brand message, I'm so surprised by the first two launches being skincare. Especially when it's makeup that Patrick Starr is known for and not skincare.
Makeup wipes are so boring, and Patrick Starr is the complete opposite of boring, so it's a very strange first launch, but it'll be interesting to see what's next for the One Size Beauty brand.
