Pat McGrath has been posting a whole host of sneak peeks on her newest launch, and today the name was finally revealed. There’s going to be a very special limited edition rose-coloured case which just looks incredible, but there’s also going to be their usual plain black lacquered case too.

The pink case is guaranteed to sell out extremely quickly as it’s so special, and a must-have for Pat McGrath super fans.

The Pat McGrath Divine Rose Mothership Palette was an amazingly popular launch for the brand. Where it originally launched as a limited edition release.

It was the perfect palette for those that love rosy toned makeup, and was the palette that made the brand as massively popular as it is now.

So the hype for the Pat McGrath Mothership VIII Divine Rose II Artistry Palette is through the floor, especially as everyone has now seen the absolutely gorgeous shades inside the palette, and the jaw droppingly beautiful swatches.  

When it sold out, there was uproar from those that couldn’t get their hands on it. As it launched in the UK first, people in the US were gutted as they could see all the UK based beauty addicts fawning over their new palette, without being able to get their hands on it themselves.

The Pat McGrath Mothership VIII Divine Rose II Artistry Palette has the most decadent packaging, depicting a woman with glossy pink lips and a fly stuck to her lips which is fitting with the tricolour effect of bluebottle flies, which matches the tricolour shade in the Pat McGrath Mothership VIII Divine Rose 2 Artistry Palette.

I’m guessing that the Pat McGrath Mothership VIII Divine Rose II Artistry Palette is an Artistry Palette as some of the finishes perhaps can’t be used directly on the eyes, due to FDA rules, so by calling it an Artistry Palette, they can ‘recommend’ the shades be used elsewhere on the face/body. 

Makeup Look – Subliminal:

1. Sculpt & contour the eyes by sweeping a wash of NAKED BLUSH through the crease & along the lower lash line using a fluffy blending brush. 
2. Press ELEGANZA onto the lid with a fingertip, softly blending the edges with a blending brush.
3. Use an angled brush to add definition to the upper & lower lash line with XTREME BURGUNDY.
4. Highlight the brow bone & inner corner with SKINSHOW ROSE OPAL.
5. Emphasize the center of the lid with ASTRAL PINK MOON, pressing the pigment on with a fingertip until reaching desired intensity.
6. Complete the look with false lashes & FetishEYES Mascara.

Makeup Look – Sublime:

1. Softly define the crease with NAKED BLUSH, using a blending brush to diffuse the colour towards the brow bone.
2. Add definition to the socket & crease with ROSE SEDUCTION, blending the colour using circular motions with a blending brush.
3. Pack XTREME BURGUNDY onto the lid with a flat brush & blend into ROSE SEDUCTION.
4. Press BRONZE ROSÉ 005 onto the lid with a finger until reaching desired colour intensity.
5. Smudge PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in BLK COFFEE along the lower waterline & lash line.
6. Use a small detail brush to blend DIVINE DUSK along the lower lash line, creating a smokey effect.
7. Complete the look with false lashes & FetishEYES Mascara.

Makeup Look – Subversive:

1. Cut the crease & define the outer corner with XTREME BURGUNDY.
2. Soften the edges with ROSE SEDUCTION, using a small blending brush.
3. Swipe VR SEXTRATERRESTRIAL onto the lid with a finger.
4. Tightline the upper & lower waterline with PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in XTREME BLACK.
5. Blend DIVINE DUSK along the lower lash line with a small detail brush, creating a smokey effect.
6. Use a small detail brush dampened with Mehron Mixing Liquid to emphasize the inner corner with GOLD LUST 001.
7. Line the lash line with Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner & extend into a wing.
8. Complete the look with false lashes & FetishEYES Mascara.
