The Pat McGrath Labs Midnight Voyage Mini Eyeshadow Palette has been revealed as the latest launch for Pat McGrath’s makeup brand. We’re used to seeing lots of beautiful ten pan, luxurious palettes from Pat McGrath Labs, and they’re always crazy pricey, as the pan sizes are genuinely huge.
This new launch is a new palette format for the brand, and I hope it means we’re going to be seeing more mini palettes along the line, as they’re a much more budget-friendly way to try their amazing eyeshadow formula. Keep on reading to find out more…
“This limited-edition mini palette stars five of PAT McGRATH LABS’s most-loved eye shadows complemented by debut metallic “Bronze Venus.” The six ultra-pigmented shades deliver maximum payoff and long-lasting artistry in a single swipe. With a compact size and user-friendly layout, it’s a major must-have for creating legendary looks at home and on the go.“
The Pat McGrath Labs Midnight Voyage Mini Eyeshadow Palette is $29, and contains six rectangular eyeshadow pans. Now, some people are commenting on how affordable this palette is, but it’s important to remember this entire palette only contains 3g / 0.10 oz of product.
That means this palette contains the same amount of eyeshadow as almost ONE Pat McGrath Eyeshadow pan (from a MTHRSHIP Palette – they are 2 grams EACH) – that is a tiny amount of eyeshadow, so $29 is actually extremely expensive gram for gram.
Whilst yes, it’s a great way to be able to try the brand’s eyeshadows without buying one of the full size MTHRSHP Palettes, but $29 for 3 grams of eyeshadow is kinda crazy.
The shades inside the Pat McGrath Labs Midnight Voyage Mini Eyeshadow Palette are;
- Skinshow Divine Glow
- Xtreme Aubergine
- Bronze Venus (NEW SHADE)
- Night Creature
What’s also important to know, is that this palette features five repeat eyeshadows, and only one brand new eyeshadow. So if you already own a number of Pat McGrath Palettes, like myself, you’re going to be getting potential repetition. It’s such a shame they’re nearly all repeats, but it is nice to see something that’s not Divine Rose themed, and it’s available right now.
