Pat McGrath Labs has officially revealed their holiday collection, and it’s the Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021. Last year’s collection was incredible, and the main piece within the collection was the Celestial Divinity Palette, which I absolutely love.
You can read my review of the Pat McGrath Labs Celestial Divinity Eyeshadow Palette, and see the amazing shades swatched right here. I couldn’t wait to see what the brand had instore for this year’s collection, and it definitely didn’t disappoint.

Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021
“Launch your artistry into the heavens with a cosmic collection starring the MTHRSHP MEGA: Celestial Odyssey Eye Shadow Palette, featuring 18 wondrously wearable hues presented in five luxe finishes, followed by space-vixen-worthy Luxe Eye Shadow Quads, an opalescent gel-powder Highlighter, Pat-curated Blush and Highlighter palettes, sublimely tinted Lip Balms and more.“
The Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021 is set to launch on the 23rd of September, and usually with new launches, we don’t get a launch date shared, so it’s exciting to know it’s launching in a matter of days.
So let’s take a look at everything in the Pat McGrath 2021 holiday collection…
The star piece within the Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021, is the Pat McGrath Labs Mthrshp Mega: Celestial Odyssey Palette, which is an eighteen pan palette.
We did see sneak peeks of this palette on social media this week, as a celebrity makeup artist used the palette to create a makeup look on a celebrity for the MET Gala earlier this week.
Even though the images shared weren’t the best quality, you could still see it was a stunning palette, and the official reveal images look even more amazing. Just like the Celestial Divinity Palette, the Pat McGrath Labs Mthrshp Mega: Celestial Odyssey Palette has cardboard packaging.

‘CITRINE ENVY’ – Golden Green Shift

‘NOIR MOON’ – Iridescent Black Sparkle
All of the permanent Pat McGrath Palettes have plastic casing, but the holiday palettes feature more shades, less product per pan and cardboard packaging, which keeps the price down.
We haven’t seen the prices on the pieces in the collection yet, but last year’s palette was £60, so hopefully this year’s palette will be around the same price point, but I’ll update this post once the prices have been officially revealed.
Next up in the Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021, are two more eyeshadow palettes, and these are traditional Pat McGrath Quads, with plastic, luxury packaging, and again they look seriously beautiful. The two palettes are;
- Pat McGrath Labs Celestial Odyssey Luxe Quad: Bronze Borealis
- Pat McGrath Labs Celestial Odyssey Luxe Quad: Deep Space Divinity
The Pat McGrath Labs Celestial Odyssey Luxe Quad: Deep Space Divinity Palette does give me Celestial Divinity Luxe Quad vibes, but it looks to have at least one amazing multichrome, in the bottom left corner, and I can’t wait to see these shades swatched in the coming days.
The Pat McGrath Labs Celestial Odyssey Luxe Quad: Bronze Borealis Palette looks a little more rosy toned, with one matte shades and three shimmer and metallic shades.
The next product in the collection, is the Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish: Sublime Skin Highlighter in the shade Lunar Nude is one of the prettiest highlighter powders I’ve ever seen. It has a black and gold plastic compact, and the pan features a raised crown design on the pan.
It looks as if it could be a baked gelée highlighter, and I’m excited to see the swatches of the highlighter, as it’s very much on my wishlist, depending on how deep or glittery it looks in the swatches. I’ve never tried any of the Pat McGrath Labs Highlighters, so I’d love to finally give one a try, as I’ve heard amazing things about the formulas.
Next up in the Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021, are two shades of the Pat McGrath Labs Lust: Luxe Lip Balm, and the two shades are Nude Temptation and Naked Rose.
In the stock images, the two shades look extremely similar, and are both rosy pink hues, so it’ll be interesting to see what they look like in up-close images, which PMG will undoubtedly share in the coming days.
The packaging of the Lust: Luxe Lip Balms are so chic, with a metallic tin, and a raised gold chrome lips design on the lid. The brand already has other shades of these balms, and it’s strange there’s no lipsticks or glosses in this holiday collection.
The last two products in the Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021 are quite possibly going to be the sell-out must-have items within the collection, and it’s two powder blusher palettes.
Pat McGrath finally launched powder blushers this year (read my review here), and they are genuinely incredible, so the idea of a Pat McGrath Blusher Palette is very exciting.
The two Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021 blush palettes are;
- Pat McGrath Labs Divine Blush + Glow Trio: Galactic Sun
- Pat McGrath Labs Divine Blush + Glow Trio: Amber Allure
Each Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021 palette contains two shades of Pat McGrath Divine Rose Blusher, and also a powder highlighter too. One of the palettes contains deeper shades of blush and highlighter, and the other is much lighter, and they both look beautiful.
Pat McGrath Labs Divine Blush + Glow Trio: Galactic Sun has a medium pink blusher, a peach blusher and a light champagne highlighter
Pat McGrath Labs Divine Blush + Glow Trio: Amber Allure looks to contain a magenta pink blusher, a terracotta peach blusher and a champagne highlighter.
I have to admit, I think this is the first makeup collection I’ve wanted every single product from. The Pat McGrath Celestial Odyssey Holiday Collection 2021 looks so pretty, and I definitely want the eyeshadow palette, and two blusher palettes, but I really like the highlighter and lip balms too.
Once swatches are shared in the coming days, I’ll be sure to update this post, but I’m really excited about this collection, and can’t wait to get my hands on the collection once it launches. You can sign up to the waiting list right here, and get a discount code once the collection launches, too.
