Ouai recently overhauled their entire shampoo and conditioner collection, as well as introducing the new Ouai Detox Shampoo.
Everyone needs to own a good quality detoxifying shampoo in their collection, to help clarify the hair and scalp, and removing any product build up within the hair.
Ouai Detox Shampoo
The whole campaign behind the launch of the new Ouai Detox Shampoo, is ‘hitting reset’ by using the Detox Shampoo to deeply cleanse away dirt, oil and impurities.
It’s currently a US exclusive at ULTA, Sephora and Urban Outfitters, but hopefully it won’t be long before it launches at other Ouai retailers.
The Ouai Detox Shampoo is described as being a once a week powerhouse which is said to be like a magic eraser for your hair that washes a-OUAI all traces of dirt, oil, and product build-up, leaving strands squeaky clean, but never stripped.
“Detox Shampoo lifts away dirt, dandruff, hard water deposits, and residue, leaving hair super-clean and strong and the scalp clarified.
A healthy scalp is key to preventing hair loss, warding off bacteria, reducing frizz, and restoring shine and hydration.” – Ouai

The Ouai Detox Shampoo is free of SLS, SLES, phthalates and parabens. It is safe for all hair types including color-treated, keratin-treated and Brazilian-blowouts.
Although it contains apple cider vinegar, it doesn’t smell like it, as it has notes of jasmine, white musk, bergamot, sandalwood, and pink peppercorn – their signature Melrose Place scent.
Priced at $30, the Detox Shampoo is quite pricey, but you do get 300ml and it’s not something you’d use everyday, so it will last a very long time should you use it once a week, like Ouai recommend.
If you struggle with your hair feeling weighed down, and dull, the Ouai Detox Shampoo is well worth a try, and it’s available right now.
