I love OPI, and must own over sixty of their nail polishes in my sizeable nail polish collection. So, when they launched the OPI Hollywood Collection Mini Polish Set as part of their 40th anniversary collection, I knew I had to have it.

OPI Hollywood Collection Mini Polish Set
I did a whole post on the full OPI Hollywood Spring 2021 Collection right here, showcasing all twelve shades from the collection. All of the polishes are available in a full size standard Nail Lacquer formula, the Infinite Shine formula, and also this cute OPI Hollywood Collection Mini Polish Set.
“Explore colors inspired by classic Hollywood with a modern twist with the Spring ’21 Mini Nail Lacquer 4-Pack from OPI.
Celebrate 40 years of OPI with red carpet-ready nail polish inspired by Hollywood glamour.“
OPI Suzi Calls The Paparazzi – A pop of pretty persimmon pink to hit the tabloids and create nail fashion frenzy.
This shade is so much deeper on the nails than it looks in the bottle. In the bottle, it’s a light pink, but it’s a deeper shade of pink once applied. It takes at least three thin coats for full opacity, and has a creme formula.
OPI Movie Buff – Featuring a provocative kiss of color that will make nails blush.
I love pale nail polishes, so this shade was always going to be my favourite within the OPI Hollywood Collection Mini Polish Set. It’s a very pale blush pink, with a cool undertone, and a creme finish.
OPI I’m Really An Actress – My nails will star in OPI’s newest, hottest Hollywood Collection. My role? I’m Not Really a Waitress.
In the OPI Hollywood Collection Mini Polish Set box, this shade looks like a bright fuchsia, but it translates as a red on the nails. It’s a shimmery and glittery shade with a crelly formula, which isn’t opaque in even three layers.
OPI Emmy, Have You Seen Oscar? – The hunt for the perfect red ends as OPI rolls out the red carpet.
I don’t think any Hollywood inspired nail polish collection would be complete with a statement red, to represent the red carpet, and this particular shade is really pretty.
It’s a bright, neutral red with a creme formula and is opaque in two coats. I did have quite a lot of staining with this shade, so I’d recommend using a base coat prior to application.
I feel like the OPI Hollywood Collection Mini Polish Set is a great sampler of the collection, and features a nice mix of shades and finishes. The whole collection, and this set are limited edition, and are available right here.
