Patrick Starrr shared a YouTube video yesterday announcing the new One Size Beauty Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder, and it’s going to officially launch on the Sephora website on the 9th of November. One Size Beauty is Patrick Starrr’s own beauty brand which launched earlier this year, and this powder is the brand’s first base product launch.
One Size Beauty Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder
The One Size Beauty Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder is $30 and contains 1.2 oz/ 6.5 g of product which really isn’t very much for a loose setting powder. Especially when you compare it to other loose powders at Sephora.
The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder contains 0.98 oz/ 28 g and is $32, so the One Size Beauty Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder is actually shockingly bad value for money. It’s important to always check the volume of product you’re getting for your money, as this powder contains OVER 20 grams less product than Fenty, and is only $2 cheaper which is crazy.
“Available in two universally flattering shades, this smoothing, weightless powder blurs pores and texture with a soft-focus effect while absorbing excess oil and shine. Because the formula sets and extends the wear of skincare and base products, you‘ll always be photo ready—with no flashback or white cast.“
The One Size Beauty Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder is available in the following two shades;
- Universal Translucent – for fair to medium dark skin
- Dark/Deep – for dark to very deep skin tones
- Performance Powder Microspheres: Create a silky-smooth texture.
- Surface-Treated Pigments: Aid in skin adhesion.
- Soft-Focus Powders: Visibly blur fine lines and improve the look of textured skin.
Fenty Beauty is a much more prestigious brand than One Size Beauty, so the fact you’re getting over 20 grams more powder for only $2 more is a no brainer, plus the Fenty powder has a much more inclusive shade range, much more luxe packaging and has over 1000 rave reviews on the Sephora website alone.
I’m sure the One Size Beauty Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder will be amazing, but the fact you get so little product for $30 really doesn’t sit easy with me. If you are tempted by this powder, it’ll be available right here.
