Directions
Apply NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Shadow & Liner Primer all over eye lid with doe foot applicator, before applying your eyeshadow and/or eyeliner. Wear alone for a natural, blurred look.
NYX recommend ‘washing’ the primer on the eyes from the lash line up to the brow to help perfect the skin, and then ‘press’ the shadow onto the lid for a vibrant pop of colour.
Pressing shadow onto the lid always gives better colour payoff, regardless of the eyeshadow or primer you’re using underneath, but the before and after photo shared by NYX really does look amazing, with the gold shade on the model’s eyes looking so much more vivid and metallic.
Looking at these swatches, the NYX Ultimate Shadow & Liner Primers appear to be very sheer and look like a low coverage concealer. I don’t know if they’d offer the same efficacy as concealer on the lids, but they’re supposedly infused with vitamin E and offer extended wear as well as ‘natural blur’. If you’d like to check out these new shadow primers, they’re available right now.
