NYX Sweet Cheeks Creamy Powder Matte Blush

The new NYX Sweet Cheeks Creamy Powder Matte Blush collection have just dropped, and they’re giving me serious retro NYX vibes. I remember when everyone raved about NYX blushes, back when they had like a raised pyramid design in the pan, and the Taupe shade was hailed as being the best contour powder within the drugstore. Nobody really talks about the NYX blushes anymore, or they weren’t until now…

The NYX Sweet Cheeks Creamy Powder Matte Blush collection are just £6 each, and available in 12 different shades. The blushes have very similar packaging to their existing powder blushes, with small circular compacts with a clear plastic lid.

The shade range is a little crazy, as they have a yellow shade. Yes really. I totally don’t get why anyone would want to wear a yellow blush, and rock a jaundice look but they have a yellow shade if you were interested.

They also have a new taupe shade, which I have to get my hands on as I loved the original NYX Taupe. NYX rebranded their whole blush range and the formula of the ‘new’ Taupe was nothing like the original and even the shade was different even though it had the same name. This Taupe looks perfect for contouring, and I can’t wait to try a few other shades as the NYX Sweet Cheeks Creamy Powder Matte Blush collection all look pretty – excluding the yellow, of course.
